The festival’s primary objective is to collect kindness points in accordance with the OCBC CSR pillars. The proceeds from these activities are then distributed to nursing homes and oprhanages in Jabodetabek and West Java. By doing this, OCBC makes sure that the generosity initiated by their employees does not stop internally, but is truly felt by the communities in need.
At TunjukIN Baikmu Festival, employees are welcomed to enjoy various exciting activities, from photo booth and massages by visually impaired therapists, to an exhibition of the Upcycle Fashion Competition, SPARTA cycling booths, as well as UMKM (SME) bazaars and the CSR Cart. Each activity contributed to kindness points. Remarkably, each item purchased from the CSR Cart also contributed to mangrove planting.
The festival also featured inspiring talk shows, such as ‘Aku Sahabat Disabilitas’, ‘Gema Inspirasi’, with Ibu Parwati Surjaudaja, and ‘Food Campaign’, which discussed food security with practitioners, scholars, and OCBC figures.
On those two days, more than 4,000 kindness points and over IDR 21 million in donations were collected through the participation of OCBC employees. This stands as tangible proof that collective actions, no matter how small, can lead to meaningful impact for society and the environment.
Through TunjukIN Baikmu Festival, OCBC’s CSR team hopes that employees will be further inspired to spread kindness more widely. In the end, kindness is a universal language that connects people, and when we work together, we can make a bigger difference in the world.
